Tell us a little bit about yourself (as much as you want to reveal!) – Your work background, your interests…

My name is Rebecca and I have worked at the Council for 9 years. I have been Senior Resourcing Practitioner for the last three years but have worked in HR for a total of 12 years now.

I spend most of my time running around of my two little boys but I do love to go riding on my beautiful pink bike and spending time with my family and friends.

I am originally from Oxford but moved to Wiltshire over 10 years ago and enjoy discovering new things to do across Wiltshire, Bath and Bristol but also taking my children back to Oxford and doing things I never have done before back there.

What’s the best thing about working at Wiltshire Council?

The flexibility the council offers me as a working mum makes my work and home life balanced. I’m also lucky enough to work in a team who welcome change, values feedback and acts on it.

What three items would you take with you on a deserted island?

I would take a Bear Grylls survival book, a hammock and a solar powered generator

What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

I am sadly not a dare devil and prefer to stay on the cautious side of life and leave the daredevil stuff to others

If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, living or dead, who would they be and what would you eat?

Marilyn Monroe, Henry VIII, Lady Diana and David Beckham and we would eat Christmas dinner.

What is your ideal holiday destination?

Anywhere where my children are happy

What pets do you have?

I have a Cocker Spaniel by the name of Poppy. She is definitely the diva in our house.
